how many people have put there own lowering springs on

thinking bout doing my springs myself, i got a haynes manual to help me but b4 i start i was just wondering how many of you have done it and been succesful, is it easy or a fudge of a job

i did mine on boxing day and the hole job took me about 2 an a haf hours from start 2 finish it was loads easyer than i thought it was guna b i just changed standrd springs for 35mm puma springs and left the standrd shox and iv had no probs yet. :grin:

its pretty easy mate, did mine in the rain lol (now thats dedication lol) just pay attention and take ur time, are u fitting new springs and dampers or just the springs?

if you just do what they say in the manual you will b fine and once you have done 1 the rest is a pice of pie [ERRR] its basicly all the same after that. its soo good when you set the car down off the jack and see the car keepon gowing down :grin: even tho mine was just a 35mm drop still nice 2 see when its first done :grin:

It's dead easy m8, as long as you carefull and got patience you'll have no probs. Front struts will prob be well tight in hub but keep at em and they will shift eventually. :smile:

Fitted springs and dampers on mine mate, got some spring compressors you can buy if your having a go yourself. How does a £5 sound, they are practically brand new!!! Cost £18 new :wink:
