How much boost?

Postby JamieFRST on Wed Aug 03, 2005 11:25 pm

I've now done 2000miles since the rebuild so its booked in tomorrow for a check over and rolling road set up. Last time it was run it made 174Bhp @ fly wheel @ 9 psi

Spec

1800 Cvh conv, over sized pistons and crank stroke modified
T25 Hybrid
195 Chip/Injectors
Cossie fuel pump
kent cam/Vernier pulley
Pace IC  GRS on the way

Was hoping to open it up a bit to maybe 12-14 psi :-?

No mention of CR, which will be the overriding factor...

AT 7.5:1 that should be able to take 20psi plus I'd imagine, depending on your head gasket, turbo and who's setting it up. 15psi shouldn't be an issue anyway in my mind :)

That'll do very nicely, must go well. Will be a little beauty with a decent intercooler and some more lbs! The PACE ones really are poo, GRS will do it the world of good ;) You don't have an ACT gauge yet do you?
