how restrictive is a standard zetec exhaust.
Morning playas.
I have a RS1800 MK3.5 - textbook mods - filter, cams, decat, SS 4-2-1, and a chip to suite. However to my amazement I have the standard RS1800 exhaust - it always sounded a bit chive so I assumed it was some performance dealy.
So my question - are the standard exhausts restrictive - considering the manifold and cat have been upgraded and removed - aren't these the most restrictive elements of the exhaust . - or is the piping, silencer and backbox equally hindering.
THoughts welcome
