only thing that is wrong is that he didnt conver the dis to a coil pack to save hacking the bulkhead up to fit it!

bloody good engine the c20xe's. they can not really be faulted, apart from the cheaper cast heads on the later ones as they go pourous. Loads better than a zetec engine in terms of reliability, performance and tuning ability per pound spent.

How is it technically a ford engine tho? if you are refering to the earlier coscast head's... that doesnt make it a ford engine!

i think it would be a shame so do it to a genuine RS or mexico but if you can save a shell from the scrapyard the go for it

a mate of mine wanted to put a 200sx engine in one! i told him he was bloody stupid as they are about as reliable as a train is likely to arrive on time!

he ended up selling the car on as he couldnt be bothered with it and is building a R32 GTR 4dr skyline at the moment which owes him about 1k to 1.5k for the whole thing including the body kit! its going to be a very cheap track car and drift toy for him.
