I'm sure that anything deemed helpful will be put as a 'sticky' in the relevant forum

yeah, then people might not ask so many things that have already been answered, if they are all listed in a how-to-do section

Then when you have a How-To-Do forum people will begin to post "how do i do this" and "how do i do that" threads which will cause these pre-sticky threads to be pushed down the list and then onto 2 pages, 3 pages etc. To resolve this they would need to become STICKY'S again within this "How-To-Do" forum. Back to square one.

However you could always make this forum Read-Only. :D

yeah, read only is the way! People can post their plans in other forums, and hopefully a mod will notice it, and move it to the proper place.

i suppose if someone came up with something deemed worthy to go in a
"how-to" forum they could always show one of the moderators,
and then they would post it in the forum and you would only have
like 2 or 3 pages tops

Make the forum a 'FAQ Archive' or something. And the other forums can still be used for questions.

Adrian would need to set the topic display to 'Forever' or whatever so that the topics do not dissapear
