how to get more power?

hi all im a newbee...

i have a ford fiesta 1.3 1999 mk4

just wonderin if anyone knows how to get more power for a lowish price?

iv allready got : airfilter / oilbreather filter / and exhaust sytem/ rims.

ino its hard to get somthing out of a 1.3 fiesta but i got it for free so might aswell try.

To be honest your not going to get much for your money, especially with a 1.3.

I dont know how old you are, but you would be better to keep your car running, build up your NCB and then save up for something with a bigger engine when you can afford it

i askted this question not so long ago. to get more power u need to do major work. not worth bothering really, but yeh build up the ncb's is the best way tbh:)

Tiny? Double the bhp of the 1.3! Or were you refering to stripping it out?

1.7 Puma engines are a very common conversion in mk4 and mk5 fiestas, but that engine will go for alot more than its up for now, then theres fitting and insurance, which your more than likely struggle with at 17 and no NCB

Keep your 1.3, get all your bumps and prangs out the way (trust me most people have one in their first year) and save up for something else or a bigger engine in the mean time

ye m8 iv thought about it now i could fit it myself with abit of help as im an apprentice mechanic working at a garage so thats not an isue its just cost im not on alot so i think ill just wait a yr and get a better car, cheers ! :D

i agree, wait for a years no claims. i fort i was the world best driver... then went up some1's arse [ERRR] i was checkin some bird out haha what a gammon slipper i made of myself that day lol
