How to program a fob
Ive fitted a 2 litre blacktop engine into my mk4 fiesta and im using the loom ecu with pats from the mondeo.Everything works.Ive fitted the mondeo ignition barrel as well.My central locking still works when i stick the key in the door. Now i want to program my 3 button mondeo focus fob to the fiesta so i can lock and unlock the car with the fob.My security light where the clocks are on the dash dont work now because ive removed the ecu and and some of the old wiring. Is there away of me programing the fob to work with the fiesta.I carnt count the flashes on the dash now because the security light doesnt work.Ive not been on here for years lol.I forgot my log on name and password

Do you have a separate modular for the central locking to be remote fitted?

Re: How to program a fob
Some sort of module which plugs in to the loom somewhere I guess.
I dunno if the mk4 fiesta has one or not tbh, if it don't then unless its built into the mondo ecu (which it won't be) your have nothing to receive the command signals for the central locking when your doing the fob.
Your also need the receiver arieal/ infra red receiver.
I can tell you how it's done on the focus, and funny enough I've recently got a spare remote fob from the scrappy for my st170, already programmed the transponder to my car, but still having a bit of a nightmare getting the fob to programme up, I can get it to programme to the car but it stops my other one working, and vice verser lol, I know the thing to do to add both but it's not playing ball at mo, so I can feel ya pain lol
