...Mouthing the words 'what the f**k' with a look of disgust on my face.

I was just merging onto the M3 near Aldershot when I saw a terrible looking Hyundai coupe (I think) with one of the worst body kits ever seen glued/screwed to it, un-painted too...Not the biggest surprise, we've all seen some cr*p cars on the road.
Anyway, as I overtook it I looked over at it shaking my head and saying to myself 'what the f**k' then noticed the guy was on a walky-talky I then clocked a Volvo 740 or 940 infront with 'Turbo' written down the side with the driver also on a walky-talky...at first I thought maybe they were on some 'scumball' type event until I noticed a Range Rover a few cars ahead with a guy filming out of the back, then it all clicked 'IT'S THE BOYS FROM TOP GEAR!!!'. Suddenly I recognised the fact it was James May driving the volvo!
At this point I'd like to admit I was sort of starstruck which is a strange feeling but your thoughts go something like 'Oh my god...I'm within 10 meters of these guys I practically idolise on TV...There they are doing a job that I'd sacrifice my left leg for...right there to my left'

So there it is, I fear I may be one of those people you see in the background of a Top Gear scene who looks like a complete pillock.

.. i did exactly the same...was walking down cowes high street when a gorgeous aston martin drove the wrong way up the road..... i looked in astonishment to see clarkson driving... my 2 seconds of fame...

they're filming the studio bits next month, and those are done shortly before it's on TV. Expect some new TG on at the end of June or more likely in July.

OK, I was in a silver 09 Vauxhall Zafira...but as I didn't know who it was and just assumed it was your average tool in a chavved up car, I went to overtake and then saw the '50mph average speed camera' signs so could only overtake at about 0.05mph

Thats quality mate, cant wait to see it, I'm forever watching re-runs of Top Gear on Dave, I love it.
