i bought two baby rats 2weeks ago i bought them at 5weeks old now 7weeks , still not settled in properly keepin doin ther business on me wen i hold them ( EWW )
i have a albanien one or w.e it has red eyes , its a boy and its white wid beige patch on back called bob
then i got another boy one called buster its blacky/brown and long tail lol
they look at me i cnt help but go awww lol

me bro had 2 both females and white. had them for years but had to put them down one had cancer and the other got a brain tumor and lost the use of one side of its body

their clean pets if the cage is cleaned etc not for me tho their noisey at night aswell lol

Rats are cool though, I had two gerbils because anything is better than a fat lardy hamster that lards around all day eating doing bugger all.

There is nothing wrong with hamsters, none of mine are fat.

I have 3 of them

I have a grey and white one, a golden brown coloured one and I have one of those Albanian hamster, with the red eyes but she is one vicious Bic™, you open the cage to pic here up and she goes for your finger straight away and locks onto your finger.

The other two are both male and are as tame as anything

Mine aren't that loud at night either

But yeah get some pics up.

Ive had 4 hamsters.

My cat ate the one.

My nephew broke the other ones legs.

The other one died for some unkown reason.

The last one managed to get out of its cage, and drownd in the mop bucket.

I am offically banned from having them.

i was away for a week at my bf's and my mum got rid of them because they stunk too much and my mum being a clean freak dint like it and got rid of them without me knowing till i wwent home yesterday to find them gone

There must be some articles on the internet about how to stop the smell? The only other idea is have them in a tank (obviously with air holes at the top and that will stop the smell. I had rats in a 4ft tank and it never smelt.
