I have a DTA map for 2.0 Zetec on Jenvey TB's

If anyone needs a copy just ask. It will only work in a DTA E48-EXP ECU.

150 BHP at the wheels. Downloading in to my ECU today, and keeping everything crossed...

Suitable for 2.0 Zetec 16V, standard cams, green injectors, Jenvey TB45mm throttle bodies.

150 BHP, at the wheels? Thats going to surprise one or two people at the Pod!!!

The DTA ECU is an aftermarket system, allowing you to remap your injection system, via a laptop PC.

You'd know if you had one! Its a bright aluminium box with a 15pin D-Type on one end and a 30 way connector on the other :)
Costs about £700, but well worth the money.

Excuse me for asking grahamb, but im after a two litre zetec e for me fezzie and love the idea of those throttle bodies u got. However i was wondering how much u paid for it, as i saw on your website that your ecu has laumch control etc, which i dont really need, so is there a different ecu i can use that may be a little cheaper? :D

Theres lots of different ECU's out there. DTA, Omex, Weber Alpha, Pectel etc. Suggest you check out the features, and decide whats best for you. DTA is as good as you're going to get for the price, I reckon anyway.

Retail Price, wait for it, is
DTA £700
Inlet Manifold £140
Twin Jenvey TB's £600
4 x Green Injectors £240
Total £1680 (But I get sponsorship from all of above, so cost to me was about 50% less)

Weber Alpha kit is about £1700 but you do get the wiring loom. You don't with the DTA, I had to make my own.

Cheers for that m8. Looks like i will have to shed out the dollar if i want it then. By the way congrats on your dyno results yesterday, is that 180 bhp with only the tb, or have you got cams etc and other funky mods?

Other than changing the rod bolts for ARP race items, and replacing the clutch, drive plate, oil and water pumps, she's boggo standard. Std cams, std head, std valves, even has hydraulic lifters.

Dont waste money on tuning bits. Just do as I've done, and get the induction and exhaust system sorted. A pair of TB's and a decent ECU will do wonders for a Zetec. I've proved that! I'm not planning on fitting the cams now. I'll loose bottom end power, and thats the last thing I want for hillclimbing.

Mind you the fuel consumption is probably quite bad now (< 10mpg) but, heck, who cares?

Graham, unless something has been changed, all black top zetecs run solid tappets, not hydralic......

ah well thats the thig u see cos il be going for road use, as a cruising wagon and as im a student tosser mpg would be nice for when i drive home ad to cruises etc. But that is a huge power and torque increase. Goes to show how bad the zetec induction/exhaust is.

Mines a black top, just cos I powder coated the cam cover. :D

Its a Series II Zetec-E with hydrolic wotsits, not a Series III Zetec-R with shims. :)
