i for one joind the site because it was aimed at MK3 fiestas. at the time i had a 1.1 but the reason i chose to sign up here instead of other wide ranging ford site was because it was aimed at the MK3 specificaly.

i know i dont use the site much these days but i still have my RS and pop back now and again to see what the future is for my MK3,

i for one have used many of the guides on here.

xrtwo.com are having the same sort of talks, someone started a thread about if mk3's should be "allowed"

theres have been a lot of comments about thats what FT.com is for, and we have been dissed abit on there for letting anyone and anything on, and one guys post did make me a laugh a bit as he seems to tar everyone with the same brush

Regarding the site name change, if its still a possibility. Don't do it.

Reason being; The other day I was on a couple of websites reading up about zetec engines and others to get some more knowledge into my head about them - tuning capabilites basically. The sites lead onto other engines and models like the RST's and XR2i's and stuff then lead onto zetec turbo's ect ect... anyway, there was about 3 or 4 websites which I had gone on which all had linked to fiestatubo.com giving it reviews and things and basially saying 'pop over to ft.com to check out info on tuning ect'... I know you can link the old url to the new one if you wanted, but it wouldnt get the same publicity surely.. people might click the link, see its re-directing and think.. oh well this isnt right, and click off it.

I know you want to incorporate (sp) other models into the site, which is all well and good, its a good move, but look at the name. Fiesta Turbo... people look at it and go 'wow, going to check that out, sounds pretty cool!'

You know it makes sense to keep the name

I have ALWAYS found this Site an its Contributers Awesome..An the tec Section Has been Really Really and Is Really Really Helpfull..Top Marks Gents

The benefits of a site having a wide variety of technical knowledge far outweighs the disadvantages of it not being RST centred.

We've had a poll on this before. If all non-RST owners left, you'd have ten people on the site and it would die.

If I'm told to leave then I'll go, but for the forseeable future, I'm staying here.

wtf? Stig hasn't said anything, however I don't see a point for these posts? Its all very well you registering here then telling us that we don't concentrate enough on the MK3, however the site has to evolve, otherwise the site will die along with the MK3 Fiesta, which is what is happening.

I guess you haven't seen the site's tagline either. "The ultimate online fiesta modification resource". It doesn't specify that its RS Turbo's only. Dude, I think you have to calm down, take a deep breath, and appreciate what is here.
