I need to get this sorted on my 205 GTi so i can buy a decent car i.e Fez Turbo. Like there is no other, lol.

Me and my mate changed my head gasket which had gone on my 205 GTi 1.6. I shuld have changed the tappets when the head was off, but i didn't.
The tappets are not loud, but are pissing me off :x :-? :-? . What can i do to quiet them down. What oil additive or anything to quiet them or stop them.

Cheers. Need to sell it so i can get my new Fez Turbo on the drive :lol: .

Set correct clearance with a feeler gauge... i.e. READ THE HAYNES MANUAL!!
