i want a fiesta for my first car im not sure wether 2 get a Xr2i or an si? which would be better? any info would be much appreciated

Well if you want sky-high insurance premiums, questionable reliability (or so I've heard anyway, no offence 2i drivers) and a bit of performance then go for the 2i

If you want lower premiums, generally better reliability, lower running costs but at a sacrifice of performance get an Si.

Up to you mate really, some people have 2is as first cars but not loads. You'll probably find the money decides it for you.
