ICE problems

Postby ukgaz on Sun Jul 22, 2007 11:21 pm

ok once again my setup has strated making a strange thumping noise, last time it was the headunit, got a new one in place (same as the one i had at the autoshow). checked my earth cable seems to be fine, cant see any damage there, what i did notice was when i removed the phonos from the back of the headunit, the headunit it self was very very hot, is this normal or could it be something related?

I don't know what you mean by a thumping sound as in a 'bang' sound ?

A few headunits I've felt after they've been in use for a while have been quite hot.

I don't really know that to advise........check power connections, check the spwaker connections and prehaps check the speakers themselves for damage possibly ?
