Ideas for new calipers

Postby 2105adam on Tue Feb 18, 2014 12:08 am

Hi, just looking for general ideas if which calipers I could use on my track car. Currently I have Alcon 4 pot racing puma ones fitted but as many will know they are expensive to maintain and so are the disks which go with them.

I would be looking to replace them something similarly good but without the expensive rebuild parts etc, I will be using the FRP discs but I could easily change to 300mm ST170 if required.

I currently have 15" comp TH wheels fitted so plenty clearance.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks.

What car is it? St150 are ample for a fiesta, and bolt straight on to a mk3, st170 will fit under 15's with slight modification, callipers require shaving I believe

It's a mk3 fiesta. And I know all the focus/Mondeo ones fit as I've had them before. Never really worked for me on track. Sorry I should've said I'm looking for another 4 pot design. My fault.
