idle sensor on rover turbo inlet

Im going to use a rover turbo inlet, on mine rs1800 inlet i have an idle sensor.
do i need one , or can i do without one ?
Otherwise, what can i use ?

Are you retaining ford management ? If not you can use the rover tb with integrated stepper motor.
Nothing to see here...

for now, yes
I want to run on a dta, megasquirt system in a later stage

im using this inlet ( custom rover one )
