As turboboss said, ignition timing is controlled by the ecu. What kind of adjustment are you thinking of?

for 150 shot I must retard ignition for 6 to 8 degrees and put 2 steps colder iridium sparks ( i think i put DENSO in it ).

Assuming you're on a standard ecu (2FCD ?) then the cheapest way of modifying your ecu would be using one of Craig Moates' F2 cards (http://www.moates.net). Do you just need to retard the timing throughout the rev range or only at high load/throttle positions?

I like to use normal ecu for daily driving when nitrous is not used and another ecu for street race competitions. I need to ignition retarding when I hit nitrous on 3500rpm to 7000 rpm.

You want to get a ECU that you can map yourself so when your not using NOS you can put it back to road use, I think Motorsport developments were making or have made a something that you have on your dash so you can swap between maps for race fuel/NOS and road use

By the sounds of it you might want to lower the compression if your planing to run that amount of NOS and or have forged pistons fitted
Now driving a 1999 Audi S3 with 2.1 20v OD HTAGT3582r Turbo

Bring on the 650+Bhp 4x4 monster

With the F2 adapter you can set up set up 2 programs and wire up an external switch to allow selection of program #1, program #2 or disable adapter (to run on stock ecu). Saves fussing around ecu swapping.

my message to MOATES:
> So there is my problem. I have Ford Fiesta
RS1800 with EEC-IV ECU. I run a
lot amounts of nitrous (100 hp shot) so I must retard my ignition timing for
a cuple of degrees. I wuld like to program ECU so that I can drive two
programs, one for normal driving without nitrous and one for Street race
competitions when nitrous is used...
> Is it posible to change program with turn of
a switch.
> Do you have any idea how to solve that
problem.
> Best regards
> Ernest Pancur

His answers:
Hi Ernest,

Sorry, but I do not have the Fiesta definition information. I could provide
you with the hardware to do what you desire, but software is lacking.

-Craig

What to do now. Is omex works well????

Ernest,

If your ecu is the 2FCD variant I've posted the base and altitude spark tables at http://tinypic.com/73ed0m.jpg (please note this was just a quick check and I haven't verified the rpm or load sites yet). If you want to investigate the Moates option further just ask and I'll give you the memory locations you need.

What's the ecu you use for street race competitions?

Take a look at this:

MegaJolt Jr. <- Click!

It needs only 2 wires: from EDIS (PIP signal) and to EDIS (SAW) - easy to switch with relay or something. And it's cheap and DIY too :D
Sorry for my bad english...
