Do what I just did; I had a nice looking 1.1, but wanted more power, so I sold the 1.1 for £1000 bought a damaged Si and got it repaired. Have to know what u are lloking for though; my car only had panel damage so it looked bad but actually wasn't; it was in a 5 mph crash with a bus!! I know some people will critisize about crashed cars rar rar rar, but as it stands the car handles perfectly and is an absolute beast compard to my 1.1 ( not to mention 100K less on the clock!). And all it took was a bit of looking a bit of time and quite a bit of hard graft. Please, **DON'T LAUGH**!! but a 1.8 diesel or Turbo diesel conversion may be worth condiering - economical, so you can put the money saved towards the lower insurance.

Or bite the bullet and go for it - use some of this pile of cash for insurance!
