This is info for all FT members attending Ford fair on the FT stand. Me and Henry have decided that it would be a good idea to have a hat competition because it would be a laugh but also it would be a very good ice breaker. It will be a good way to meet other members and hopfully will solve the problem that we had at fitp of people feeling there was groups of people/being left out/finding hard to talk to other members.
Feedback on this idea would be good.

I think loads of people have had the same idea. I remembered it being mentioned at the bluewater meet, didnt remember who mentioned it though mike

I think we need to state the criteria for scoring, the hats must not be modified in any way from standard. So that means no lowering or fitting lexus lights to them.

This will help break the ice on the stand, if people dont want to take part then dont bother, but if you do it will definately get people talking

Its not particularly for recognition, its to provide a talking point for members who wouldnt otherwise start a conversation with each other. An example of what we mean is the old man straw hat i was wearing at fitp, it was the talking point of quite a few conversations i had there.
