Will work, as its basically an in car bleed valve that is used on tuning turbo cars.
The problem is you WILL want it running max boost all the time, that will mean if you have your car setup to run like that and do actually turn down the boost, you will over fuel. If its setup the other way, you WILL blow up your turbo or engine. I have seen them used on a few turbo cars and they usually end up the same ....... in the bucket.

I've got a two-stage boost switch in mine, which allows me to use about 12psi and 16psi depending on what position the switch is in. It's been set up to run properly on either stage of boost. Contact Motorsport Developments if you want one like that. I believe Grove Garage can do them too.

You already have an adjustable boost controller attached to the bottom of your right leg ;)

As long as the car has been setup to run any increase in boost that you adjust then its good. I had an electronic hks controller, which was quite accurate and had 4 preset levels.
