in need of some help and info

ok people.

I live next door to a kit car manurfactures. And have just been to see them about having a little engine transplant.

We sat down and got talking, in the end it was decided that a 2.0litre 16v with throttle bodies or twin 45 carbs would be best for me. Also he would be doing a brake conversion so i can stop it lol.

The questions are will it all fit into a mk4 fez?
How much has he got to change e.g. wire loom, gearbox etc....?
Is the engine with the bodies or carbs, the brake conversion and labour worth £4000?

He's asked me to find out as much info as i can (as he hasnt fitted 1 into a fiesta before). So all info would be gratefully recieved.

thanks

It's not as easy putting it in a mk4 as it is in a mk3. they use a the zetec-se engines in the mk4's, not the zetec-e engines you find in the mondeo. nothings impossible, but you'd need to do a lot of work to get it in.
on the other hand, the puma 1.7 will go in pretty much straight forward from what i've heard
