Increasing BHP!

Postby raceface8 on Mon Sep 10, 2007 12:56 pm

I would just like to no what is the easy ways without changing the enging to increase my BHP. I have a fiesta zetec s 1.6 X reg.

Ive been looking around and have came across this DIY chipping Bot called Bluefin. It says it will increase my BHP by 8. Will this make much difference? And what are some other ways to make your car go that bit faster with no mods like turbo'ing it etc. Also i would like to keep the same engine.

The Yamaha 1.6 motor is pretty tunable but it really does depend on what you want to spend. I would start off with the basics of a cone filter and proper exhaust system. Puma Build and Puma Speed both offer a range of goodies for your car. 120bhp is achievable without massive outlay more is possible depending on the depth of your pockets

Well i have a exhaust system and a pipercross induction kit, i have also had the car lowerd 40ml. Would this bluefin be any good? Or is it better to take it to a garage and having it done?

urban racing (0845 130 7441) can do a response chip for you that would give you better figures than the bluefin (proven!)

also just as safe, we've had no problems at all yet and we have done a lot of them so far including the focus ST and we're just starting to sort out the fiesta st150 bgut we're waiting on files to read the ecu.

any questions just give us a ring we can do any car, bike, van, truck lol

prices from £399 (also we can sort out cashback for referals and discount for groups)

Are they able to provide a dyno graph of the car before and after the remap and if so what dyno are they using?
