induction kit for 2i 8v

ivbe been thinking of buying one but how do i know if my
car has an IRV? the car is a 1990 (H) and the air box has
a small tube going to the bottom of the air box has this
got anything to do with it?

also i was thinking of a green kit cos everybody has a
K+N has anybody tested these out? or does everybody
recomend K+N?

any help would be apreciated. thanks :)

Hope you can decide from this. With your car being a H reg 1990, looks like you need SYSTEM 1

i had a 89 2i .. i had the 4th system ..

there is no official K&N set for this.. so i fabricated something to get my IRV to get filtered air..

first i just used a filter 'screwed' into the upper part of the airbox.. and just left this on the inner wheel arch ..


later i got another IRV from the scrappy (of a EFI xr3i) and put a filter on the intake.. and mounted the IRV on my bulkhead
