induction kit help

Rite, im getting a k n tomorrow, :d need a bit of help with fitting it though. Image

this prob sounds bloody daft lol but where does the bit in the top left go, and what does it connect on to?

Its a cold air feed, goes from behind the bumper somewhere, upto the air filter. And sit infront of the filter to feed cold air.

As mixon said, cold air filter. I got one of these kits the other day.

I've secured the top of it to the airbox bracket, and the bottom around the horn bracket and its still there after 2 hours of motorway driving!

Have one end just below the bumper, and the other end about 3 - 4 inches from the filter, to direct the air flow from the from of the car to the filter.

You dont it just rest on the side, feeding air into the side of the filter.
