induction kit- MAS?!?

i've been looking at induction kits for my 1.25 zetec (1999) Mk4. I have come across MAS. Seperate packages for those with and those without.... anyone know what MAS is?

Mass Airflow Sensor. This lets the ecu know how much air is reaching the engine. Iguess the MAS kit come with it but I don't see why as you already have one. :-?

I think there might be an extra breather hole in the base of the K&N thats all.
