Thinking of fitting one myself. If you've got one - what did you get? Was it easy to fit? Was it worth it?

I got a K&N 57i, from Jay @ X-Factor as it happens (plug :D)

Bit of a pain to fit but then I had minimal tools and ended up borrowing them off Bridger (Cheers mate :)) plus it was in the middle of the hot sunny day that was Trax2002, so I guess it was worse than it should have been.

Sounds a bit nicer and seems to pick up a bit better, but generally you won't notice a huge difference.

I'm not saying don't get one, just don't expect miracles

I'm just a useless mechanic Andy

Chum you may aswell give it a go, if you don't like it just flog it on. It's the same fitment for 1.6 Si's, RS1800s, XR2i 16vs and tooleater zetecs (notice a trend here  )

mmmmmmmm i'll see how much i can pick one up for. Altho i do know that the std panel filters are pretty decent and not that restrictive. but i guess i'll get a better sound. :D
