would anyone know if it would negatively effect the performance in any way having a long pipe between the carb and the air filter? (assuming its air tight? thanks, mike

can't say for sure but i'd assume the only down point would be that it could get hotter.

yer, thats what i thought, as the air in the pipe when the carb stopped sucking, would stay there, and warm up for a bit, making the next lot of air to go in a bit warmer.... oh well.. sure it wouldnt be too bad hehe!

just give it a go and see what happens...if it becomes worse then change it back
