I have a mk2 xr2 CVH and would like to fit a single weber 40 DCOE to it. Ive looked at twins but i think that that would be over kill for my needs

Does anyone know where i can find a inlet for a single weber?

I would say it would have to be custom made

Cheers mate. With an engine that will have a output of etween 125-130BHP would you say a single 40 set up right would be fine. I know its common to get a twin set up and id like that but my wallet wouldnt. Mainly getting hold of another weber would be hard.

I could use a 34 DATR but the carb might just not be up to fueling it well enough.

That would be better but I would personally recommend you went the 36/34 twin choke route.
