Inlet Pipe - Any replacements for the K&N one?
Just wondering if there are any other ones available? The black rubber K&N one is really ugly and changes yellowy in the engine bay
Don't want to have to go back to standard really.
Also can you get ones that go at an angle so they dont go across the rocker cover as besides from covering up my powder coated rocker cover it does get rather warm on top of the engine.
Cheers.
Lee.

Anything other than the standard K&N is better.
Is it possible to make my own. I'd rather just buy some aftermarket one but any info on making my own would be useful

you can buy thin wall aly tubing of about 60mm bore like the throttle body, bit of blue samco hose off the TB to the aly then you might be able to route it 90degrees to right as soon as it comes out the TB, or maybe run the pipe over the rocker cover and angle it off after it, pipe would probly need flattening to fit in tho

Is the bore of the turbo inlet the same? Style is important but even more so is performance. There would be no point in me having got my stage 2 cylinder head and manifold if i was going to suffocate the engine by use of a small inlet pipe.
I will have to have a look at one and see. Anyone know about the focus one?
