hi im 19 next month i have a tt99 on my license and have a fiesta xr2i does any 1 no if i will be able to get insured under my mums insurance on this car , ive had my license for 3 months, does any no a rough estimate and a good insurance broker , thanks

tt99 :-? I was 21 and a xr2i was my first car i was paying £1300 3rd party

i was driving before i got my licence and got a 6 month ban for no tax mot or insurance now they say i only have points for insurance purposes i dont no how many but its been clased as a tt99 tottin up procedure,

you would be incredibly lucky if you got 2.5k - 3k a year.

but with a tt99 its always gonna be expensive as hell. for minimum 4 years. good luck with that.

I'm 24 with a full NCB and clean license and I still find it expensive to insure an XR2i - good luck :wink:

I can insure a Focus RS for less money than an XR2i its crazy!

driving 2years, 2 years ncb, no accidents no points fully comp im looking at 1400 quid, christ its cheaper for me to insure my galant, and my mk1 golf GTi than insure a 2i

And why do you think that is? Probably because your wife isn't seen as much of a risk, seeing as you have totted up too many points!
