Insurer Needed For 2.0l Conversion

Postby Tweek on Mon Jul 02, 2007 10:53 pm

hey all, kinda stuck now. Since my engine decided it had enough I thought I'd might as well go for the 2ltr conversion. I know lots of people who've done it at all ages but everywhere I've phoned have declined me and I'm 20 and driven for 2 years.

I haven't even got any silly price quotes, just blatent refusals! I've tried:
Current insurer (CIS)
HIC
Adrian Flux
Swinton
Performance Direct

If anyone knows of a broker that can help me out that'd be great.
Cheers.

HIC and Flux turned you down?
wtf

when i rang up for that they said

"hold out till your 19th and then chuck an rst engine in there for all we care, and we WILL quote you at 19"

thats just wierd, you hold out for years building up no claims and when you get there NOPE

just keep trying, were these phone quotes or web quotes
