insuring while currently making a claim
Man, timing is all wrong with this.
I've just got my renewal quote for my car and it's nearly double my original price! Despite gaining an extra years no claims. Thing is, I'm currently in the process of claiming for a minor accident.
My question; is it plausible to get a reasonable quote while I'm claiming? The claim is at the litigation stage and I know it will drag on for quite some time. Would like to get back on the road ASAP. Will every insurer assume I'm at fault and price my policy accordingly?
I know this is one of those 'ring up and find out you numpty' questions, which I will be doing on the weekend. Until then some experience or professional opinions would be appreciated

Until you have been proven not at fault, then more than likely yes.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.
