GRS?

Pace intercooler is a bit small. Or get a chargecooler with a large res and radiator.

Mine kicks arse. :D

The GRS must be the best but mine cost nearly as much but fits in original space as it is twin core WRC design. Racetek m8.

The best place for an intercooler is front mounted in the bumper somewhere rather than behind the bumper like the standard frst one

Cheers Adrian

How would these compare to say the Pace alloy intercooler or the GRS intercooler?

If they are better than a pace I might get just one of these instead and fit it at the bottom of my cossie bumper.

AFAIK the cossie intercoolers are VERY efficient.. i think its due to a Behr (spelling) core..

MUCH better than a pace intercooler, i found the pace i/c to be crap to be honest.. the charge cooler was crap but then i modded it and it was very good.. Soo i hope my GRS intecooler will be GREAT (from other peoples experience)

I was going to use the cossie cooler, but i got lazy and decided upon a MASSIVE item instead.

A lot of ERST S2's are using cossie i/c plus Cubby was using one on his old beast!

Pace Intercooler

Postby LeeM2 on Thu Aug 14, 2003 3:03 pm

Sorry to just butt in everyone.....

Is anyone using a Pace Intercooler running around 145bhp? Is it worth getting one when I'm only running 7psi?
Are these noticeably better than the std FRST intercooler? :-?

Cheers :D

I got one on mine running 10psi. I dunno how good it is cos I have not tested any other intercooler yet. However anything has gotta be better than the standard FRST intercooler which is tiny!

So for lower bhp levels it is probably ideal
