Hi all im in the process of buying a new cooler for my FRST but there are mixed feelings about what is the better cooler can anyone shed some light on this. For example ive heard that the pace double capacity is a waste of money and the new front mount pro-alloy is the doggs.

All i can say is that the Pace I/C is rubbish and dont waste your money on it.
Different folks will tell you different coolers, its up to you and your budget what you want and buy

I recently bought pro-alloy front mount. They are well made and have got a good review in last months Performace Ford (As well has a fitting guide). If you are a member of PassionFord you get 10% off.

Most cooler's are pretty darn good now. I started out being pig-stubborn about wanting a single pass cooler, and putting up with the necessary work/costs to make it work, but the truth is, good twin-pass coolers are only very marginally behind single pass coolers now. They can produce equally good charge temps and very slightly higher pressure losses. Pace have been known to be rubbish for some time, but who knows, maybe they've brought out something new since they formed that reputation? Get all the test results you can from all the main players :)
