My s*hitty mark 3 interior is as exciting as an old ladies bloomers ! keeky grey carpets , auld pooty seats , borin old black rubber mats , and no centree console !!!!

My plan is to get black carpets , black mats with silver kinda steel plates on them , black and silver seat covers ( until such times as a retrim is possible ) and silver gear knobs etc . and also a little secret that i have got planned for you all , as far as i know , no-one has done it yet .

anyways i need to know where to get a centre console , and also where to get carpets and aare they easy to fit ( im goin to be uprootin the old ones anyway to fit sound deadening material)

cheers in advance

Gog$

For a start don't get seat covers! get some XR2i 8v or 16v seats or if u can afford Recaro's then get them! As for the carpet & the centre console you can get them from later spec fiesta's. My mate has got a black carpet & a centre console & he has an M Reg 1.1! So have a look around the scrappy's! The carpet's have about 10 black catches arounf the edges & in the footwells! (have a look) As for the air conditioning grill's etc... Colour code them yourself!

Hope this helps mate!

If ur interior is grey, it looks nice if u put a black one in... Mine when I got the car was totally basic; all grey, no console etc:

have alook in the parts for sale section on here. Loads of 2i's being broken. Should be able to get a centre consle for it. Have a good look around for the black carpet.. Looks good when in and east to fit (apart from the little screws in the back seat  )

Lou, how did you do it all black?
Car is back...

Lou's dash came from a breakers, the carpet, pillar trims, centre console, door cards, steering wheel (leather, ooh...) and seats came from my ExR2i, which was 1992 spec black interior.

Hiya, the black dash I got was free... Was in a Fiesta that had an engine fire, and the car was totally stripped apart from the dash. Said I could take it...

If you get a mk3 black dash (1992 onwards) they are the same as the grey except the colour.

mk3.5 (1994 on) have the car's vin plate by the windscreen vents and either a gap or a blanking piece above the glovebox for the passenger airbag.

Only chrome thing there is the push button start to the left of where the choke is...
