Mine have been colourcoded java blue and moondust silver for almost six months now and no peeling. Secret is to use plenty of laquer and give them a polish up with a good quality car polish (e.g. auto glym super resin, raindance) before fittin them.

I hav painted mine silver using PlastiKote(splet sumin like that). You can get it from BnQ and seems to be stayin on ok!

I hav only done the bits which come off...ie heater bits and centre bit. Just make sure u rub em down a little [ERRR] Wet n Dry first (only lightly tho!)

I used the plastikote burgundy metal flake spray , got it from halfords , some laqcueur ( forgive spelling) i had lying around the house.
The chrome effect was achieved by priming the actual vents n using plastikote chrome spray ( got it from homebase) laceur and then plastikote gloss.
Great fun a nice weekends work and well recommended

I painted mine at the beginning of last summer using normal car paint and lacquer.
It still aint come off, faded , bubbled etc.
