Is it possible to get a K&N for an MK3 XR2???

Ive got an XR2i engine and gearbox thats going in my car in a few weeks but im not having the injection part, therefore what can i do about an air filter???
Is it even possible to get a MK3 XR2 air filter - or does it not matter whether its for injection or not?
Because ive been told that i cant fit an injection air filter if mine wont be injection despite it being 1.6 either way...? :-?

If it's not an injection, then you must be running xr2 carbs from the mk2. It is basically a Mk3 1.6S search for that bolt on, it will be the same as the one for the HCS engine in guides section.

If you are running big dirty weber carbs then that goes out the window, just stick some socks on the trumpets :Q
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Just to confirm, do you know that you can't (easily) run the EFi head with a carb inlet...?
