g-max kits u have to trim ur bump stops by 20mm????

That is what i have heard from someone on here who has got a gmax suspension kit!

I have had mine fitted for a while and was never told to have it trimmed by 20mm, so i wanted to check if anyone else had had it done!

Thanks - Raj

id agree when i had my old 1.4 ghia dropped 35 on my gmax set up the intructions clearly said they had to be cut down, you will get a well rough ride over mid to large bumps otherwise, as u hita bump the spring and damper will be absorbing the bump and moving upwards and will suddenly gammon slipper the bottom of the untrimmed bump stop. i trimmed mine down a bit more than 20mm as my cd player was skipping like mad, was much better afterwards.
