Is it worth buying performance Leads/ Plugs on a standard RS

I was just wondering is it really worth uprated your plugs and leads to performance ones when you just have a standard RS1800 with induction and zorst?

I can understand if you have a chip and performance cams but if its just standard would it really be worth the money

Deffo genuine Ford for the leads. Lots of options on the plug front. Best to speak to a tuner and see what plugbest suits your engines spec.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

i guess it would be fair to say that the manufacturers spend millions on research and development on these parts so it must be worth something.

A bit like airboxes, yeah they can be restrictive and are to keep noise and emission levels down, but a 50 quid max power filter which suffers from heat soak is simply a waste of money

The Motorsport leads are worse than standard Motorcraft leads, they break down easier etc :(
