CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

it's fairly good with 1.6L 16v Zetec

Postby g-flash on Wed Jun 12, 2002 12:31 pm

I've just lowerd the compretion of my pistons to 7:1 and bolt on a T3 Hybrid Turbo with 360 degree thrust bearing and an escort exhuast manifold, and 20psi of boost and i did take on rolling road and hit a 180BHP. not bad a and the torque is scary with my zetec.

what other mods should i do to get more power from my 1.6L 16v Zetec? :Q

yeah course u can, just make yourself an exhaust manifold and use a twin t3 turbo set-up, 200 bhp nitro jets, and make yourself water injection by using a garden hose pipe, will get u 600+bhp!!!.

I hear PTS have their own water injection system which should give him up to 1100bhp....

But to truly demonstrate that power increase you should take it to PTS to have it rolling roaded there. They have a special liquid nitrogen cooled air conditioning system to let your car achieve its maximum potential...

Phil>> use the sprinkler u have, andy told me u squirted him the other day so presume u have one :oooh: :oooh: :oooh:

Choosey>> yeah that box and clutch will be fine, but go for a T2 but use a drainpipe for water injection instead cos its gonna be damn hot.

you should be seeing a lot more than that, my last 1600 managed 216 on the standard valves, that was at 36psi though - what injectors are you using?

why did you use a 360 bearing? a standard one is fine up to 15psi
