ive never been so shocked before !
I had the pleasure today of servicing a friends fiesta 1.3 mk4
done the usual brake fluid change , antifreeze change, checking brake pads etc etc
lifted up the rear seat base which was left loose to find this .....
What a Lash up !
The lazy baxtered who have been mucking around with the fuel pump couldnt be bothered to drop the tank
Then to make it worse they have used some sort of mastic to cover up the destruction

Re: ive never been so shocked before !
I did this to one of my fiestas but only because it wasn't driveable and i needed the panel from the fuel tank for my other one, was easier than dropping the fuel tank but didn't matter as it was going for scrap.
Any car i wanted to keep i would drop the tank
