Janspeed CVH Turbo Conversion - any info?

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Hi..

I've been offered a brand new, boxed, complete Janspeed turbo conversion for a CVH engine.. I'll be finding out some more info about it soon but i'm wondering if anyone knows anything about these (or perhaps owns one)..

Questions to be asked like manifolds.. carbs.. fuelling.. reliability.. potential etc..

Cheers

Stu

I dont know much about the converion, but if you go for the kit it may be hard to get spares as janspeed have gone bust.

Yeah.. well hopefully as it's brand new kit it won't bust for a while (ultimately it's two manifolds, a turbo, some piping and maybe some carb stuff).. hopefully most of those parts are replaceable..

i'm tempted to build up an escort combi v*n with this kit installed.. so even if it does all break in the future, i could put S2 RST running gear in it..

I've experienced the turbo technics one... fine until the heavily modified carburettor goes loopy. Try any get an alternative that fits (32DFT)... that's why I'm currentlytrying to get an S2 RST setup going!

Would you sell it? If so, how much?
