WOW, i did about 30 5-6-7mm holes went round to my mates and he couldn't believe that i hadn't had a new backbox put on. He had a new peco and can't believe the new grunt mines got. It's obviously not as good as his but the look on his face :lol: :oooh:

fiesta 1.1 mk3. Yeah, i saw a diagram on here and just copied it. another guy i know did it and i was impressd. So i fort, lets go for it..... 5 minutes work and my god it's sweet :Q

Just make sure your check your air filter just that bit more regulary. Good chance of extra crap being drawn in now. Also, pop open the air box and clean that in regular intervals.

Ok, May get one when i have money. Mine sounds about as loud as it can now i think.

Drilled a few to many holes tho, And its gone a bit high pitch now.

perhaps you could attach some fine mesh to the inside of the box to stop some of the crap getting in?

No point really, The filter will. Yea it will get cloged quick but they are only a few quid.

Person with the 1.1, I hope you removed all of the warm air feed crap as well, The long pipe bit? That makes it louder being removed on its own!

Not on a 1.1 - better off saving up for the insurance on the next (more powerful) car than buying engine mods for it!
