k and n bolt on filter for carbs.

are the k and n bolt on filters any good as i wanted an induction kit but cos i got a crappy 1.1 carb engine they wont go on so i might get a bolt on filter. does any1 else have 1? will they sound a lot better?

Ive got one for my 1.1, it sounds better than it did b4, but it doesn't sound amazing. I think it's worth the investment, even if it is to say u've got a k&N for ur car. :)

got 1 on my 1.3 and its worth having, try and get hold of 1 form a late carb'd xr2 they fit correctly :)

im gonna get 1 cos if it sounds good then at least people will think i got power under the bonnet. i will get a signature pic up here soon as soon as ive fitted the backbox, sunstrip, cleaned it and tinted half iof the rear lights.

They sound great, not sure if it would sound the same on a 1.1 as i have a 1.4 but definatly recomended even just to get rid of the crappy black air box.
