Lookin' good man!
You gonna use it before all the new paint flakes off and turns to rust?
Or are you just gonna be a bummer and polish it?
Does look ace though pal

im so jealous
i loved putting my car back together, but doing it where everything is brand new and freshly painted must be so enjoyable.
i looking forward to the finished product and glad another fiesta has joined the white side

I like Pacifica tbh, looks really nice on early Escos' as well
I was swearing at you today btw , it took me over an hour to get that horrible yellow paint off of those adjustable lower arms you sold me , they are a much more sensible gloss black now
Thanks for all the comments guys

Pacifica isn't a bad colour really. Just not one of my favorites. White will be much more striking zipping around Combe
How very strange! I was actually talking to my Girlfriend's dad yesterday on the plane home, reading my Ford mags, saying how when I was building my Fiesta I painted the suspention componants yellow and how our tastes change! Spooky.

Re: My RS1800 Track car, K18 UFO, Painted, She's White !!!
Dave, just from my local motor factors fella, £36 inc vat exchange
Right more progress today, and finally a full days work on her.
All the front end suspension is now on and steering rack fitted.
before brakes were fitted
Handbrake connected so I now have brakes
and back on her wheels so I now have a rolling shell ready for when the car comes home.
Either tomorrow or Friday the kit, bumpers and cage will be painted, I might sneak my fuel cell in as well for them to do
Only one more picture as I'd forgotten to take many today,

Re: K18 UFO, doors, bodykit, bumpers and cage painted
And so it continues
Today the doors, kit, bumpers cage and fuel cell were painted
Doors were fitted this afternoon and I spent the rest of it putting the polycarb, locks , etc. back on.
Tomorrow the cage will be re-fitted, Monday/ Tuesday the kit will be put on, so it will be home by this time next week.
The wheels are on there just till it gets home
Wings are not fully bolted up yet either.
Engine bay is starting to fill up

jesus! better get that quick shift back to you ASAP then mate
it dont look bad mate, yes its a good comment about a white car and i half expect it under you sig now , but credit where its due mate.
and BTW, i would highly advise fitting the accelerator cable and bonnet cable (if your re-fitting it) before anything else, cos the accelerator cable can be a c**t to get clipped into the bulk head with everything in the way

Cheers Muz, yeah the Ledas are rather special arn't they
Jay, I reckon you got about 4 weeks with the quickshift mate if thats ok,
no bonnet pull needed, I have 4x Aero catches going on
I'm starting to sort the wiring loom out next weekend
I'm not sure what accelerator cable I'm using yet because of the throttle bodies.

4 weeks is plenty of time, i gave it to my dad to do the drawing up as i dont have time this week gone and this week coming and didnt know when you needed it back, but i'll make sure it gets done this week coming if its not done already and get it back to you mate just in case you progress faster than you think, which i reckon you will mate, putting back together is good fun and your get stuck right in

Re: K18 UFO, Cage back in
You have pm Max
I fitted the cage back in yesterday morning
You may of noticed I've cut the door internals out slightly
Also cut down the dash and test fitted it before it gets sent off for flocking
