K18 UFO, Frozen White track car, FOR SALE !!
Re: K18 UFO, Kit back on
Well, its been over 10 weeks since an update so here it is,
I have done very little since November due to the weather and work load.
Dash and steering couling have been flocked.
I used http://www.getflocked.co.uk who provided an awesome service.
I'll post some pictures up later.
My engine will be ready within 6 weeks.
I'm having 2 weeks off in March to really push it on and hopefully be ready April/May time.
I have a couple of mates coming up on Sunday to devise a plan for an adjustable steering colomn,
My seat is so close to the floor the steering wheel is currently at a horrible height/angle.
Carbon hatch will hopefully be here soon as well.
regular updates will follow

Re: K18 UFO, Frozen White track car
Pictures from today,
Not alot of actual work done but a plan is in place to alter the steering wheel angle,
the mount is going to be cut and a new section is to be welded in to lower the angle of the wheel. should be done over the next 3 weeks.
I have managed to fit the rear smoked Euros front indicators and lights just to see what they look like.
These wheels will be painted either Frozen White or black, not sure yet.

Not only does your car look amazing, Shaun, but it's also amazing how an unfinished car gets such an amazing response...

Also, how have your wings been attached? Just noticed what looks like a black rubber strip inbetween the front panel and the wing just under the headlight - are they bolted? Or is that actually black sealant?

Re: K18 UFO, Frozen White track car
Thanks for all your comments guys, it means alot.
Simon, the wings are bolted on, what you can see between the wing and front panel is a piece of black rubber to stop the 2 panels moving against each other (even the slightest movement) and rusting.
Due to currently working 7 days a week and 60+ hours atm the car will not be worked on again until March 7th,
thats when the steering column angle will be changed.
More pictures then guys.
The car will be finished and used in anger within 6 months
