hb69 :what quickshift is it you are fitting, ive got a burton one on mine, its pretty good.

got much else to do before castle combe?

b&m quickshift fella

Can't get the brakes bled until Saturday morning now so still cant use it

A few things to do before Combe, want to get the small battery fitted behind the passenger seat, got a cheap cone filter coming and a new MAF sensor needs to be fitted as well as my new radiator.

Once that is all done I might polycarb the rear and rear side windows, if I have time.

Cheers :aviator:

Picked up my Avon tyres last night as well :)

My cone filter has turned up so might put that on this afternoon.

That is all for now

Not a problem mate.... just got to finish it now, lol...

im spending every minute on it now, today fitted all the gear selector unit and routed the gear cables under the car and neatly clipped up the back of the bulkhead to keep well away from the 3" EXHAUST system. All the engine bay is stripped ready to fabricate the mounting of the bias pedal box next weekend+ collect the new built engine from ian howell :o :D :D

Shaun, trade you a go in yours and vice versa, combe is my favourite track of all. 8) 8)

I was going to fit the harnesses in today but got so wasted last night

I've been useless all day, only started feeling better about 5pm.

It normally takes 10 minutes to walk back from the pub,
it took me over an hour last night :bonkers:

In all honesty, I havn't a clue :-? , but the evening started with a bottle of red wine, half a bottle of rum and half a bottle of brandy :o :o :o  , no wonder I didn't feel to good :bonkers:

Anyway went into my local friendly Ford bodyshop today and enquired about having the sun-roof welded up, basically the best way is to purchase a new roof skin without the sunroof hole,
but was soon put off when the panel was £250 :o  , I will try Ford Parts UK for a price, but I think that will be something for the future

I won an auction for some small mirrors last night so they should be with me later this week :aviator:

I meant the whole roof skin replaced mate, they said it would warp if they just filled the hole in, or a carbon fibre one perhaps :bonkers:

for rallying etc people usually just make up some sheet metal and rivet it over the hole in the roof, no idea how they seal it etc though
