Great brakes, What did you pay for the calipers? I need a pair for the mondeo!

I got the calipers given me normally your talking £80 ish I would say

Paid £50 for the discs which are brand new

Well after all the fannying about with the car to get it ready for Ford Fair
(cosworth brakes on then swapped back again )

My longer studs turned up and fitted them this morning,

Lots and lots of things have been bought for this project,
but most of it will be fitted over the Winter months

Latest additions are Leda 3 ways

And Emerald K3 management

But I have finally fitted these

Theres no way I'm taking that cage out again, I like things subtle anyway

Jimbo, yeah, the whole lot will be done together, engine, box, management, suspension, adjustable top mounts, brand new carbon bonnet, pro-alloy fuel cell, lots more lightening etc. etc. etc

The wheels were only a quick job for this year, but I think they may stay this colour now for a while

I seen some cossie wheels painted the same colour on a mk4, stands out loads but looks good at the same time

Re-spray is the last thing on the list fella, I got engine upgrades to do first

The stickers cover up the worst bits of the paint atm anyway, everytime I find a dent/scratch another one is added

So my next track day is at Euro-fest @ Combe, on 6th September, lets hope its dry

Couple of things to do, first is to sort the subframes for the seats out, (seen what Luke has done on his )


Oil catch tank needs renewing as the last one split, and front brakes need a proper bleed,

Need to do some road miles on it as well, just to bed the brakes in,

but after getting the ST220 I'm not looking forward to it

Use to a comfy quiet ride now

New seat subframes being welded in tomorrow, seat will be 2" further back and lower

More stickers as well going on

errrr......I will strap myself into it and weld the door shut........You can close the hatch on the window and weld that up so you don't have to listen to me rabbit rabbit rabbit

How much noise does your rabbit make, if it makes a wining noise then you've worn out the bearings?
