K18 UFO, Frozen White track car, FOR SALE !!
Re: K18 UFO, Frozen White track car
muz :Looks greta in Frozen SHaun. Really good build. Gunna be so hard to keep clean though
Hows my old RS1800 getting on?
I sold the RS1800 in the same condition as I bought it from you mate, apart from I fitted one of the 3/4 windows to stop the rain getting in
It is now in Wales with Darrell, Dwayneology on here, who is going to restore it and get it back on the road
I didnt have the time to do it as I bought a Black FRST a few weeks after I picked up the RS1800 and now I've got a 2.0 Si as well to run about in while I have a few bits done to the FRST

Looking mint, nice work.
What colour stripe's are you putting in the bumpers?
Or do they weigh too much?
Black would look very
Can't wait to see it finished, as I'm sure you can't

Re: K18 UFO, Frozen White track car
Update as promised
Yesterday my mate Darren and myself dropped the steering column down to a better angle,
After fitting my Sparco seat the angle of the wheel was an issue so this is what/how we altered the angle.
How it started out
The spot welds were drilled out and the 2 upper braces cut off
I then fitted my seat in place and we sorted the new wheel height.
Then we welded in 2 angle pieces to the upper part and a couple of box sections to the lower part
Unfortunately my camera battery went flat
But after a few coats of paint the wheel was put back on and its been lowered by at least 25mm,
My drivers seat will now be fitted as far back as possible,
which after checking again will be perfect for me. Pedal box next
Also today a visited my ole' buddy Luke and collected his old (my new) bronze tinted polycarb windows, cheers fella
Pictures will follow once fitted next Sunday.
So, Next job is to finally put the poverty spec loom in, then the dash then the front screen
i'm hoping to have 2 weeks off within the next month to push this on

Re: K18 UFO, Frozen White track car, FOR SALE !!
I've got a few bits you might be interested in though Nick, send me a text tomorrow, I've lost your number
Jay, I would of got a white one, but my mate in Shaftesbury has got one , I'm going Ultimate Green mate
I'm selling ALL of my spares, I threatened to a year or so ago, just had enough of it all tbh,
I've got some nice bits to sell, but nothing will be offered before this is sold, my other track car will be for sale mid September (after Combe Action Day)
My Focus will also be sold, probably at the end of September.
New Focus should be with me next March
