Kenlowe's

Has any one fitted Twin Kenlowe's on there Fez ?

If so:

1 - Did they make a vast difference on cooling
2 - What size where they (6 or 8 " I'm assuming)
3 - Where did you get them from

I may need one cause I'm in the prossess of converting my car into a "RS1800 Lux" :D and could probably do with some additionall cooling with half the rad covered up.

Image

I'll have to have a mesure up later and I'll find out what the price of the kit is direct from Kelowes if anyone's interested I'll post the price up when I get one through.

off the top of me head i think youll find 80% of the fans mentioned actually flow LESS air than stadard, you need to read the tech specs on theyre websites

I'm gonna have them as an addition to the standared fan, due to having no Turbo I could put 2 in front of the rads and 2 behind if I wanted.

and why on earth would you need more than two on a N/A? have other issuse to consider other than fans if its that hot,
cars with aircon usually run one fan as a normal engine temp fan, the other is always on when the aircon is

I'm not saying I am gonna, just saying I could. the fact is the aircon rad is covering so much of the rad I wanna help cooling a bit. and I thought putting additionall fans in there will help, it'll also keep the engine bay temp down so my TB's won't pull warm air.

And you said yourself that cars with aircon use more than one fan

Can any one give me any figures for the FRST fans then ?

a 10" Kenlowe will give an Air Flow of 705 c.f.m and a volume of 1210m³/h @ zero resistance.

Thats 1410 c.f.m. and 2420 m³/h with both fans running.

I thinking about running one in front, and one in the gap behind, one blowing and one sucking :-?

Yes assuming there is nuffin in front of them. @ zero resistance, like in a controled environment. That's how the mesurements would be calculated on any fan.

MIXION is there nuff room to fit one behind :-? to have one blowing and one suckin.

Cant have it opposite, but would be able to fit one behind the intercooler, which still partially covers the rad. Maybe i will just get a 12" one for the front or something, at least it will be slim and should fit more central

Yeah summin like a 12" one wouldn't be such a bad idea, is there much room between the Rad and Intercooler ? like nuff the fit a bit of the 12" fan between the two ? if you know where I'm comming from.
